Und tats\u00e4chlich, muss es um 10.\/ 11. April 1972 gewesen sein, als die Begegnung stattfand. Es sind die einzigen Tourdaten, an denen Uriah Heep und Leonard Cohen zeitgleich in M\u00fcnchen verweilten, um zu konzertieren; Anmerkung des Autors).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>P.S. : Anlass dieses Gespr\u00e4ches war die Ver\u00f6ffentlichung der \u201e50 Years In Rock\u201c-Complilation von Uriah Heep am 30.10.2020, auf der nat\u00fcrlich auch die Hymne der Band #LADY_IN_BACK enthalten ist. Vierzehn Tage nach diesem Interview, welches eines der letzten war, das Ken Hensley \u00fcberhaupt gab, meldeten die Agenturen am 5.11.2020: \u201eKen Hensley\u201c ist am 4.11.2020 im Alter von 75 Jahren \u201eunerwartet\u201c gestorben. Sein Bruder Trevor best\u00e4tigte dies in einem Facebook-Post. Zur Todesursache \u00e4u\u00dferte er sich nicht. Er schrieb: &#8222;Ich schreibe dies schweren Herzens, um euch wissen zu lassen, dass mein Bruder Ken Hensley Mittwochabend friedlich gestorben ist. Seine sch\u00f6ne Frau Monica war an seiner Seite und stand Ken in seinen letzten Minuten mit uns bei. Wir sind alle niedergeschmettert von diesem tragischen und unglaublich unerwarteten Verlust und bitten euch, uns ein bisschen Raum und Zeit zu geben, um damit klarzukommen. Ken wird bei einer privaten Zeremonie in Spanien einge\u00e4schert, also bitte fragt nicht nach Informationen zu einer Beerdigung. Ken ist gegangen, aber er wird nie vergessen und wird immer in unseren Herzen bleiben. If one compares the tour plans of Uriah Heep &amp; Leonard Cohen, both Leonard Cohen and Uriah Heep played in Munich in 1970, 1972, 1974 and 1976, both often in the legendary location &#8222;Circus Krone Bau&#8220;. And in fact, it must have been April 10-11, 1972 when the encounter took place. These are the only tour dates on which Uriah Heep and Leonard Cohen stayed at the same time in Munich to give a concert; Author&#8217;s note).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>P.S.: The reason for this conversation was the publication of Uriah Heep&#8217;s \u201c50 Years In Rock\u201d complilation on 30<sup>th<\/sup> of October 2020, which of course also includes the band&#8217;s anthem #LADY_IN_BACK. A fortnight after this interview, which was one of the last Ken Hensley ever gave, the agencies reported on November 5th, 2020: &#8222;Ken Hensley&#8220; died &#8222;unexpectedly&#8220; on November 4th, 2020 at the age of 75. His brother Trevor confirmed this in a Facebook post. He did not comment on the cause of death. He wrote: &#8222;I write this with a heavy heart to let you know that my brother Ken Hensley died peacefully Wednesday night. His beautiful wife, Monica, was by his side, helping Ken in his last minutes. We are all devastated by.&#8220; this tragic and incredibly unexpected loss and we ask you to give us some space and time to deal with it. Ken is being cremated at a private ceremony in Spain so please don&#8217;t ask for information about a funeral. Ken has left but he will never be forgotten and will always stay in our hearts.
