„Which song you wish you had written?“, wurde Cohen 1985 vom Q-MAGAZIN gefragt und er lieferte das erste SPOKEN WORD zu dem Song, als er sagte: „If it be Your Will“. And I wrote it“, und erg\u00e4nzte:\u00a0 „My favorite verse in it is „All your children here in their rags of light“, eine \u00e4hnliche Antwort gab er im gleichen Jahr des PAROLES ET MUSIQUE MAGAZINE.<\/p>\n
