Er nannte die neue Formation zun\u00e4chst The Baghdad Blues Band. Dank der Umbenennung in Kaleidoscope und eines umtriebigen <a title=\"Musikproduzent\" href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Musikproduzent\">Produzenten<\/a> bekam die Band 1966 einen <a title=\"Plattenvertrag\" href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Plattenvertrag\">Plattenvertrag<\/a> bei <a title=\"Epic Records\" href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Epic_Records\">Epic Records<\/a>. Sie bestand zu der Zeit aus Lindley (Banjo, Gitarre, Geige), Solomon Feldthouse (Gesang, Gitarren, Kazoo), Chris Darrow (Mandoline, Bass), Charles Chester Crill (Harmonika, Keyboards, Geige) und John Vidican (Schlagzeug). In dieser Besetzung nahm die Band drei <a title=\"Single (Musik)\" href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Single_(Musik)\">Singles<\/a> und zwei <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Langspielplatte\" href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Langspielplatte\">LPs<\/a> auf.
