Als Bryan Ferry das Dylan-Cover-Album \u201cDylanesque\u201d noch nicht auffgenommen hatte, \u201ctr\u00e4umte\u201d er schon davon, einmal Dylan-Songs aufzunehmen. 2007 geschah das binnen einer Woche. \u201cYou have to bring something of a life to those tracks. So you might be able to hit higher notes when you\u2019re younger, but when you\u2019re older, you can hit fewer and lower notes with more conviction\u201d, sagte er damals, als er danach gefragt wurde, ob er seine Stimme daf\u00fcr als geeignert ansehe. Als die Songs schlie\u00dflich erschienen, fragte ich ihn in einem daamaligen Interview, welcher Dylan-Song der f\u00fcr ihn schwierigste war. \u201eThe Times They Are A-Changin\u2019\u201d, antwortete er\u2026 \u201cund \u201cAll I Really Want To Do\u201d f\u00fcgte er hinzu: \u201cbecause there you\u2019re covering two people; not only Dylan but the Byrds\u2019 version.\u201d Auf die Frage, welchen K\u00fcnstler er in \u00e4hnlichem Ausmasse einmal covern wollte, sagte er recht spontan: \u201cLeonard Cohen.\u201d<\/p>\n
