Rue St. Denis, Theatr\u00e9 St. Denis, 4th<\/sup> of novembre: Zehn Jahre nach dem Tod von Leonard Cohen am 7.11.2016 und neun Jahre nach dem \u201cTower Of Song\u201d-Tribute To Leonard Cohen-Festival im Bell Centre von Montreal\/ Quebec veranstaltete Leonard Cohens Sohn Adam am 4.11.2026 mit \u201cEverybody Knows Leonard Cohen\u201d ein weiteres Gedenkkonzert f\u00fcr seinen verstorbenen Vater im Montrealer Theatre St. Denis. P\u00fcnktlich um 20.00 Uhr begann Adam Cohen das ca. 100 Min\u00fctige Konzert mit einer akustischen Version von \u201eDance Me To The End Of Love\u201c, bevor noch ein Dutzend weiterer Cohen-Klassiker gespielt wurden. Nach \u201eSo Long Marianne\u201c war fast Schlu\u00df. \u201eHallelujah\u201c w\u00fcrde er nicht singen, k\u00fcndigte Adam Cohen, der von einer vierk\u00f6pfigen Band begleitet wurde, schon im Vorfeld an. \u201eHallelujah\u201c sang schlie\u00dflich Special Guest Rufus Wainwright und Martha Wainwright. Im Zugabeteil ging Adam Cohen, der von seinem Sohn Cassius Cohen am Bass begleitet wurde, auf Zuschauerw\u00fcnsche ein: Mit dabei: \u201eAvalanche\u201c, \u201eComing Back To You\u201c oder \u201eChelsea Hotel\u201c (wieder mit Rufus Wainwright) u.a.<\/p>\n

Walking Montreal\u2019s Streets \u2013 Searching for Cohen-Related Places \u2013 Vol. 9: \u201cEverybody Knows\u201d \u2013 The Concert in Montreal 2026 \u2013 Evening 1<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Rue St. Denis, Th\u00e9\u00e2tre St. Denis, November 4th: Ten years after the passing of Leonard Cohen on November 7, 2016, and nine years after the \u201cTower of Song\u201d tribute festival at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Leonard Cohen\u2019s son, Adam, hosted another memorial concert for his late father\u2014titled \u201cEverybody Knows Leonard Cohen\u201d\u2014at Montreal\u2019s Th\u00e9\u00e2tre St. Denis on November 4, 2026. At exactly 8:00 p.m., Adam Cohen opened the approximately 100-minute concert with an acoustic version of \u201cDance Me to the End of Love,\u201d followed by a dozen other Cohen classics. The show nearly concluded after \u201cSo Long Marianne.\u201d Adam Cohen\u2014accompanied by a four-piece band\u2014had previously announced that he would not be performing \u201cHallelujah\u201d; however, the song was ultimately delivered by special guests Rufus Wainwright and Martha Wainwright. During the encore, Adam Cohen\u2014joined by his son, Cassius Cohen, on bass\u2014took requests from the audience, including \u201cAvalanche,\u201d \u201cComing Back to You,\u201d and \u201cChelsea Hotel\u201d (the latter featuring Rufus Wainwright once again), among others.<\/em><\/p>\n
