Die Old Ideas World Tour begann mit 5 ausverkauften Konzerten am 12. August in Ghent/ Belgien. Es war der erste Teil dieser 2012/ 2013 stattgefundenen Konzertreise, die nach 31 Konzerten am 7. Oktober 2012 in in Lisbon, Portugal im Pavilhao Atlantico endete.
Danach führte die Reise nach Nordamerika.
In Ghent wurden einige der Old Ideas-Songs in das Live-Repertoire der Welttournee eingebettet: Beim Tourauftakt war auch #Amen als Tour-Live-Debut zu hören am:
